About the Fragrance:
June 1660, Isle of Pheasants, Basque region, on the Spanish-French border.
Maria Teresa, the Infanta of Spain, is offered to Louis XIV in exchange for peace between the two nations. Innocently perfumed with orange flower water, her powdery complexion blushes as the gallant King lays his eyes on her for the first time. She opens her scented fan and steals a look back.
Infanta En Flor is a luminous floral composition that balances innocence with quiet sensuality. It opens with radiant cistus essence, bright bergamot, and the honeyed warmth of everlasting flower (immortelle). The heart blooms with orange flower absolute, French jasmine concrete, and Moroccan rose, enriched by a supple Spanish leather accord. In the base, benzoin and cistus absolute lend resinous depth, while Venezuelan tonka bean and a harmony of modern musks create a soft, lingering finish.
